One thing you can say is his own band is a very tight one and they compliment each other exceedingly well. Suffice to say, Ty Segall has it pretty much together and is accommodating his audiences very well, particularly this Dutch one from a few weeks ago. And what’s a working musician to do, other than work? I dunno. At 27, he can get away with it – but he’s not resting on any laurels. The proud owner of 8 solo albums, plus the distinction of being a member of some 7 other bands, Ty Segall is one busy fellow.
